10M Trail Run @ Usery. Group Run from the Nature Center today, consistent pacing throughout and then opened up a bit on the final uphill climb to push my strength and endurance. Felt strong and the weather was perfect.

16M Trail Run @ Usery. Early start today to start acclimating for the colder weather. Followed 2 Rounds of the Five/Three protocol, finishing back at the main trailhead. The second round of running felt stronger than the first.
10M Trail Run @ Usery. Followed Run/Walk protocol, with a 1min walk at the top of every 15min. The short breaks allows me to recover and actually push a faster pace for longer distances.

13M Trail Run @ Usery. Finishing out my mileage for the week with the Five/Three Protocol. Did the 7.5M loop followed by the 10K loop. Nice to get some hiking mileage in after several days of solely running mileage. Legs and feet ready for a rest.
10M Trail Run @ McDowell. Tried out a new location this morning, starting at Brown’s Ranch Trailhead. A bit of rolling hills along the Powerline, followed by a little climb up to Balanced Rock, then back along Cholla and Corral to the finish. Good group run!
6M Trail Run @ San Tan. Turkey Trot for Thanksgiving, completed the 9K loop plus some change. Legs were feeling a little bit sore since this was my third run in a 24-hour period (did a clean and jerk wod yesterday with running, followed by an evening endurance run with intervals).
16M Trail Run @ San Tan. Completed the Malpais loop (10M) followed by the + 9K loop. Only stopped running for a few breaks and to shed the long sleeve shirt in-between loops. Consistent pacing for the whole run, felt strong.
21M Trail Run @ Usery. 4 loops of 5.25M track. I challenged myself to complete all 4 loops with consistent pacing (1 loop / hour). Followed Run/Walk protocol, with a 1min walk at the top of every 15min. Loop 3 was the most difficult mentally, Loop 4 was the most difficult physically.
16M Trail Run @ Usery. Showed up this morning to find out there was an Aravaipa Race going on at the park. Somehow snuck onto the course just behind the 25K runners. Followed 2 Rounds of the Five/Three protocol, finishing back at the Nature Center.
